NBCUniversal’s Coverage of the 2024 Paris Summer Games

Great ready for the 2024 Summer Games! NBC will offer extensive coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris along with several additional channels, a new Olympics Hub feature and 4K viewing. The coverage kicks off with the Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 26, and wraps up with the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, August 11.

System Requirements for Olympic Hub and 4K Content

  • Requires GMA Video client version 2.29 (Platforms supported are Android TV, Amazon Fire TV. Please note, the app developer Tivo made the decision to exclude the Apple platform and Android mobile devices). Per NBC rules, Basic Package subscribers will see the Olympics Hub menu selection but will not have access to the content.
  • 4K content requires a 4K tv and 4K compatible streaming device. 4K bit rate = 12Mbps. Internet speeds at your device and Wi-Fi speeds if your TV is not hardwired.
  • 4K laddering spec – 4K feed for non 4K devices will display at the resolution of the television or the streaming device, whichever is lower.
  • Please note that these special feeds and channels will only exist for the duration of the Paris Olympics.
